History of Woodend Mill Springhead / Lees

Woodend Mill was originally built in the mid nineteenth century out of substantial Yorkshire stone and over the years it has been tastefully adapted to meet changing conditions. It has been in the same family ownership for over 100 years. In 1981 it was converted into industrial units to let to meet the demand from local businesses in the Oldham area.

Woodend Mill in Lees now consists of industrial and commercial units of 300 to 3,000 sq ft.

A variety of local businesses make use of the facilities.
